Covid-19 Updates

3/20/2020

Dear Patients:

As you are all aware, the world is facing a pandemic of a disease known as COVID-19, which is caused by Coronavirus. At Mountain View Rehabilitation Medical, we work to provide you with the safest environment possible.

If you have mild cold or flu-like symptoms, we encourage you to stay home. We will be happy to reschedule your appointment to a later time.

If you think you may have been in contact with someone who has traveled to one of the countries with a widespread outbreak – China (including Hong Kong and Macau), Iran, South Korea, Italy, and Japan – or someone who was diagnosed with COVID-19, and you have respiratory symptoms such as cough, difficulty breathing or fever, please call your primary care physician’s office.

Our physicians and staff are taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of our patients. We are rigorously cleaning and disinfecting all of our office surfaces and equipment before and after any patient encounter.

Regenexx patients with a scheduled New Patient Evaluation may consider completing the initial consult with Dr. Richnak by phone. If you have images or imaging reports, we would have you mail them to us prior to the phone consultation. After completing the phone consultation, if you want to proceed with further evaluation or treatment, we can see you in the office at a time that is convenient for you. Our usual NPE fee would be charged for the phone consult and would also cover any subsequent evaluations prior to treatment. If you want to change your appointment to a phone consult or prefer to postpone your appointment, please call 530-205-9054.

We want to assure patients who have a scheduled procedure that we follow the rigorous Regenexx lab protocols which ensure that the lab is thoroughly cleaned, and we minimize the number of personnel entering the lab. You may be contacted with a change to your scheduled procedure time as we will work to spread out our procedures to limit the number of patients in the office at one time. Should you have any concerns or would prefer to postpone your scheduled procedure please contact the office at 530-205-9054.

For patients who enter our office, you will find hand sanitizer on the front desk and spread liberally throughout the office. We ask that you use the hand sanitizer prior to touching other surfaces. Let us also take a moment to remind everyone that one of the best ways to prevent the spread of the disease is to wash your hands frequently with soap and water.

Please do not hesitate to call if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank You,

Dr. Joel Richnak and Dr. Mike Jensen
