Your body is full of living cells, some that act as repairmen of the body. However, as we age or get injuries, we sometimes can’t get enough of these critical repair cells to the injured area to do their work. Regenexx procedures work without surgery by increasing the concentration of your body’s own healing agents to stimulate the natural healing response in your injured or degenerative area.
Our patients benefit from less downtime, less pain, and faster recovery than invasive surgical procedures. Many of today’s most common surgeries have been shown to be ineffective and can begin a cascade of joint degeneration that leads to early-onset arthritis. Sometimes at an alarming rate. Regenexx seeks to reduce pain and restore function, without removing tissue and creating additional problems, which is often the case in surgeries that claim to “clean-up” a joint.
Regenexx procedures use image-guidance technology to place customized doses of your own cells precisely into the area of need.
Have you been told that steroid injections or invasive surgery are your only options to treat your pain? Interventional orthopedics provides a non-surgical alternative. If you experience joint or spine pain during normal activity, you may be a good candidate for a Regenexx procedure.
Surgery should always be your last option. Post-surgical recovery can be painful, requiring a lengthy rehab period to restore strength and mobility to the area.
As an alternative to surgery, Regenexx procedures help alleviate pain and restore joint or spine function with a non-invasive injection procedure. Downtime is minimal, with little need for pain management medications, lengthy rehab, or time off of work.
Patients receive a candidacy grade that rates the likelihood that a Regenexx procedure can help them.
